Covid 19 Policy

Congratulations on the birth of your baby!

This is an unnerving time for everyone, especially parents of young babies.  I keep up-to-date on CDC guidelines and maintain high clinical standards for safety, including but not limited to the use of personal protective equipment, distancing, and sanitization.

I enter your home wearing a mask and begin each session by washing my hands.  All equipment is sanitized before and after each visit.  I’m fully vaccinated against COVID-19, seasonal flu, and whooping cough. Telehealth appointments can be made available if anyone in your home begins to feel unwell.  Complete transparency and communication of symptoms is vital for the health of both your family and mine.

If you have a cough, runny nose, fever, vomiting, diarrhea, or have been in contact with anyone with these symptoms or had a positive covid test, please contact me immediately.

If clients develop symptoms within 5 days after appointment, I ask to be notified.

If I (or any of my family members) have any symptoms as described above, I will cancel all appointments until medically cleared to begin seeing clients. If I must cancel, I will make every effort to find you another caregiver or arrange to see you virtually (if virtual care is appropriate for your situation)
